Accommodation
Please always lock the door when leaving the premises. Just lift the door handle upward and then tum the key. You may take the keys with you but please take care not to lose them.
There is an insect screen to use when the door is open for your comfort. There is also a shutter that can be used if you wish.
The accommodation is fully cleaned between stays. During a longer stay the bathroom will be cleaned every two – three days between 12:00 – 13:00. The bedroom cleaned and bedding changed every seven days.
Bathroom
The toilet is a Sanibroyeur (grinder). It is important that only the toilet paper provided is flushed down the toilet. To avoid blockages absolutely no other items (tampons, condoms, baby wipes, etc.) should be flushed down the toilet. There is a waste bin provided in the bathroom for these items.
The sink in the bathroom is for personal hygiene and not for dishwashing.
Eco-friendly shampoo and shower gel are available in the bathroom for your use.
To avoid steam development in the bathroom during showering, please slide the vent in the window open and switch on the extractor fan. Please remember to switch it off again once the steam is cleared.
Wet towels should be left to dry in the bathroom rather than in the bedroom, please. New towels are available every two days.
Outdoor Kitchen
You have use of the outdoor kitchen and this is where breakfast is usually served. There is a snug and outdoor terrace for you to sit comfortably with a cup of coffee or tea (or a glass of wine). If you wish to cook yourself a meal there are some supplies available in the cupboard in the kitchen. A toaster, a gas stove and a multi-grilI. You can also use the BBQ that is under the shelter beside the kitchen.
There is fresh, filtered water in the labelled dispenser on the shelf above the counter (Every day refilled). An electric cooler inside the summer kitchen with milk for tea or coffee. The Senseo can be used to make coffee or tea. You will find coffee pads and tea bags in the box underneath the Senseo. Simply omit the coffee pad to obtain hot water for your tea.
Compostables can be placed in the container provided. There is a waste bin beside the kitchen for plastics and paper/cardboard.
The snug has a wood burner for use in colder months. Please let us know if you would like assistance with getting a fire started, or need more wood.
Please keep the little wooden entrance gate to the B&B area closed when not in use. Please slide the door to the outdoor kitchen shut when not in use and at night. We would appreciate the lights being switched off in the outdoor kitchen when you’ve finished using it for the night.
Breakfast will be served in the outdoor kitchen between 08:30 – 10:00. Just let us know your preferred time.
If you would like to go for a walk, you can take the Voir Verte to Sourdeval, which takes approx 20 minutes. The other direction takes you to Beauficel or Perier en Beauficel.
